Black Spartans Advisory Council

Mission:

The Council鈥檚 purpose is work with the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in a collaborative partnership to represent the Black Spartan community鈥檚 priorities and to initiate immediate and ongoing actions to be taken by campus leadership to make the mini传媒 environment more equitable for Black Spartans. 

Goals:

We seek to work with the campus leadership to close equity gaps between Black Spartans and other groups. This includes, RTP, pay, promotion, employee development, and student success gaps. 

Develop and implement a programming plan for the Black Scholars Floor.
