Launch of Unified @ 2025 mini传媒 and Professional Education Brand

Dear Colleagues,

In 2022, we launched San Jos茅 State University Online with an ambitious vision: to establish mini传媒 as the preeminent leader in online education across California. Today, as we navigate a rapidly evolving higher education landscape marked by shifting student demographics and physical campus constraints, expanding our services for adult learners is a core institutional priority.

To achieve our ambitious long-term enrollment goals, we must present a powerful, unified brand to prospective students.

To that end, I am pleased to announce that on the afternoon of July 1, 2026 University Marketing and Communications (UMC) will launch a reimagined, centralized website that brings all undergraduate bachelor鈥檚 degree-completion, graduate, and professional and continuing education programs under a single brand identity: @ 2025 mini传媒 and Professional Education.

This single digital front door will showcase our portfolio of over 50 programs. As the largest provider of online and professional education in the California State University system, this centralized domain will significantly amplify our market visibility, capture demand, and drive enrollment growth.

Moving forward, @ 2025 mini传媒 and Professional Education will serve as our primary external brand name for all online, hybrid, and professional degrees, certificates and credentials. We will retire consumer-facing references to "Professional and Continuing Education (PaCE)," and "Special Session," in our external marketing and communications, and move towards a name that emphasizes flexibility, career advancement, and academic excellence.

This transition is about much more than a website refresh; it is a critical realignment of our organizational framework to support institutional growth. This centralization allows us to be more efficient with our resources, amplify enterprise marketing campaigns, and provide prospective students with an intuitive user experience from their first inquiry through enrollment.

UMC will begin working with your teams to deliver guidance, updated logos, and cross-campus training to ensure complete alignment.
