Communicating with Students during a Canvas Outage
Send an email to all your students from PeopleSoft using these instructions:
- Go to and select the Mymini传媒 sign in link.
- Enter your mini传媒 ID and password.
- Ensure your correct term is selected.
- Select the class you want to view by selecting the class roster icon. The class roster icon is represented by a drawing of three people.
- At the bottom of the screen, select Notify All Students.
- A new window will appear and you can edit the subject and message text.
- Finally, select Send Notification.
Students will recieve an email in their preferred email inbox. For most students it will be their mini传媒 email. Instructors will also receive a copy of the email in their mini传媒 email inbox.

Students
During a Canvas outage, mini传媒 students are encouraged to attend their classes as scheduled to stay engaged with their instructors.
Students can contact their instructor by email with any questions they may have. Go to and search by instructor name or department.
