Environmental Health and Safety, a department of the division of Facilities Development and Operations is charged with maintaining workplace, classroom and laboratory safety for all mini传媒 students and employees. As summertime temperatures ramp up, EHS urges everyone to be aware of and respond to signs of heat-related illnesses. Limit your time spent outdoors, drink plenty of water and avoid the hottest time of the day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. if you can avoid it. Persons sensitive to higher temperatures are at greater risk for illnesses like heatstroke and should note the symptoms.
